I Do Not Have the TIME for This!

Read the post at the bottom of this email today and it hit home. Can’t tell you how many times in my business I have heard this. But also, how many times I have used this same excuse!

However, we all have the same amount of time in the day. But our priorities determine how we spend that time.

And sometimes we have to re-prioritize to create more time freedom.

And that can often be one small change!

One thing I came to grips with this last year is – if I want things to change, I have to change.

If I want to create a life with time freedom, I have to stop spending time on anything that is not going to help me do that. Night time t.v. was the main culprit for me. The 2016 election was consuming me – my time and my emotions. AGHHH! I HAD to make a change!

I stopped watching t.v. (And I didn’t die!)

I started spending that time working on changing my future.

My mother is 88 years old. She hardly has time to go potty. (Yes. I just said “potty”. ๐Ÿ™‚

She loves everything she does, and she’s doing GREAT for 88 years of age – BUT SHE IS 88! You would think she would have tons of free time.

My point – retirement does not mean you have more time. You can’t control time. You can only control how you spend your time.

So if you are a retiree who wants to put the gold back in the golden years…

Or if you are a single mom wanting to work from home…

Or if you are working 50-60 hours a week away from home and missing all your kids’ events at school…..

You have to prioritize the time to change whatever you need to change. You just have to want to change things badly enough and then choose how you are going to do that. I can help you with that if you want help.

It’s like when Jesus asked the man by the pool of Bethesda (who had been sick for 38 years, Y’all!) “Would you like to get well?”

It’s a legitimate question, because when you make the choice to change – you have to throw off all excuses. You have to choose to “get well”.

Excuses like….. “I don’t have the time for this…..”, “I don’t have the money for this….”

I’ll close with this Facebook post from Todd Falcone that puts it pretty succinctly…

“I don’t have the time.

Yes you do. Everyone does. It’s just being consumed by
something else currently.

If you want something badly enough, you’ll always make time for it.

There’s always time when it’s that important to you.

How badly do you want it?

Your business to succeed?

Your relationship with your spouse or kids to improve?

Your fitness and health to improve?

Your spiritual life to grow?

We make time for things that are important to us, don’t we?”

~ Todd Falcone

If I can do it, Why Not You??

God Bless!
