Forbes Magazine, Baby Boomers and Network Marketing Part 4 – Oh, The Things You Will Learn!

In this 4th of 4 parts discussing a Forbes Magazine article on the fact that Network Marketing is the wave of the future with Baby Boomers, I talk about keeping your mind sharp! Being in business stretches you and teaches you. Many have said marketing is a continuous "Self Improvement Course". I AGREE! And I believe challenging your mind helps stave off dementia and Alzheimers. Please comment and share! And I'd love to connect at http://kayfekete.com

In “Forbes Magazine, Baby Boomers and Network Marketing Part 4”, we are talking about – Oh, the Things You Will Learn! By the way, this is the 4th of 4 parts on my blog discussing a Forbes Magazine article by Robert Laura titled, “Would you join a Multi-level Marketing Company For Retirement Income?”

Here are the 1st three parts to catch up:
~ What does Forbes Magazine have to say about Baby Boomers and Network Marketing? Part 1

~“What does Forbes Magazine have to say about Baby Boomrs and Network Marketing? Part 2” – Oh! The Money You Can Make!

What does Forbes Magazine have to say about Baby Boomrs and Network Marketing? Part 3” – Oh! The People You Will Meet!

In the time I have been in Network Marketing – I totally agree with those who say that it is a Personal Development Program!

Life-long learners are those who will be most successful.

I truly believe that keeping the mind active and constantly pursuing learning helps to ward off Alzheimers disease.

In this industry, companies have free training, and there is so much free training online from successful professionals in the field..

Successful network marketers have no problem sharing how and why they are successful because it helps the entire industry.

Network marketing is about networking, marketing, and helping others.

I have learned so much about myself in this journey and am doing things I never thought I could do. I have learned to say “I WILL” rather than “I CAN’T”!

I was on a “zoom call” last night with a couple in North Dakota. Did I ever think I would be doing such a thing? No. What’s a “zoom call?” The lady friend said to me, “I’m really impressed with how techie you are.” Well, I have learned those things because of my profession. It has STRETCHED me!

And it is amazing how it boosts my confidence and my skill sets

If you aren’t a people person, you will learn how to think of others first and care about other people.

You’ll learn how to carry on a conversation by asking questions. Showing you care.

And you’ll learn how to run a business, how to draft your vision, how to set goals, how to have a daily plan, weekly plan, etc.

And, depending on the amount of success you seek – you’ll see the importance of taking trainings to better yourself and up your game.

This weekend I am so excited to be heading to Ray Higdon’s Prospecting and Recruiting Summit. I am so looking forward to this because I know I will learn great information that I can then share with my team to help them be more successful.

For us Baby Boomers keeping our minds sharp into our 90’s, I am firmly convinced it has to do with eating right, exercising and keeping our minds active. NOT staring at the t.v., but reading, doing mind and word games, etc. So, for me, Network Marketing is my anti-alzheimers remedy.

You can hear more about what Baby Boomer marketers had to say about keeping their minds active here in this video.

Have a great day! And please Comment and Share! Have you ever considered what you want to do to fill your time when you retire?

P.S. One of the most influential people on my life for my Network Marketing Profession has been Robert Hollis. Reading his book “How Is That Working?”, has really changed how I look at my profession. I will be doing a review of the book in the coming days, but you can take advantage of what this Amazon best selling author, who has made millions in this profession, has to say by grabbing this book for free! You will not be disappointed. As he says, if an out of work auto-mechanic with dyslexia can do it, YOU can do it!
